Meet the founder
Founder & Strategic Communications Advisor
Wemimo is a strategic communications leader with more than 15 years of experience helping organizations and their senior leaders communicate with the people who matter most: employees, the media, donors, partners, and the public. Her work spans internal and external communications across public, private, and nonprofit organizations, from media relations and public communications to employee engagement, executive communications, and organizational change.
She began her career on public health projects in underserved communities in Nigeria, with organizations including Save the Children and Mercy Corps, where she saw firsthand how communication shapes whether people understand, trust, and act on decisions that affect their lives. That perspective has stayed with her.
Most recently, Wemimo built Nutrition International's first global internal communications function from the ground up, across 13 offices and distributed, multicultural teams. Partnering with the CEO's Office, C-suite, and People & Culture, she led communications through growth, change, and the move to a hybrid workplace, and helped lift employee engagement from 78% to 81%.
"Communication is not simply about getting a message out. It is about helping people understand what matters, why it matters, and what comes next."
